Kynance Cove to Lizard Point Coastal Trail
Description
A stunning coastal walk along the most southerly point of mainland Britain. This dramatic route takes you from the turquoise waters of Kynance Cove, past serpentine rock formations, to the iconic Lizard Lighthouse. Marvel at the rugged clifftops, hidden coves, and if you're lucky, spot seals basking on the rocks below. The walk offers breathtaking views across Mount's Bay and is particularly spectacular at sunset. Along the way, you'll pass the Devil's Bellows blowhole and enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Perfect for nature lovers and photographers alike.
Best visited during spring and summer when wildflowers carpet the clifftops. The Lizard RNLI station offers tea rooms open April-October. Strong winds are common in winter - check weather before setting out. Some sections can be muddy after rain.
